FIGHTING EAGLE NATION - ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Our Alumni Association is to keep our Fighting Eagle family– alumni, currents students, parents and friends – connected. WE are so excited because WE know our Fighting Eagle Nation will come together with the mindset to continue to make Warren Easton great.

WE will have a solution-based association! Less talk more action association! An association that will serve and promote the educational and cultural interests of Warren Easton Charter High School and carry out fund raising and other charitable activities for the benefit of the school, its current students and alumni and so much more. WE make a difference when WE come together!!!

Pay Membership Dues. These dues will allow us to support our Fighting Eagle Nation. The Association's fiscal year is October 1st – September 30th.

• Alumni Annual Membership $30. This active membership is for any graduate of Warren Easton who has paid their annual dues for the current fiscal year.
• Associate Annual Membership $30. This active membership is any former student, administrative staff or faculty member, friend and supporter who did not graduate from or attend Warren Easton who has paid their annual dues for the current fiscal year.
• Lifetime Membership $319. With the payment of this fee, any active, inactive or associate member can become a lifetime member. Once the fee has been paid, no additional payments for membership are required for the remaining lifetime of that member.

Gain Knowledge of Membership Card and Benefits. Membership benefits include but are not limited to:

• voting rights,
• discounted rates for ads in Alumni Association newsletter,
• access to alumni directory and contact information (for alum who elect to participate),
• support in reunion planning,
• use of Alumni House for reunion planning meetings,
• discounted rental rates of Warren Easton facilities,
• the ultimate satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting our legacy,
• your official Fighting Eagle membership card and
• much more.

Nominate and Vote for your Alumni Association Officers. The alumni association board will be made up of four (6) officers – President, Vice President, Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer and Financial Secretary which will be voted in at the meeting. They will serve in this position for 3 years.

The officers' duty is to attend monthly meetings (every 2nd Thursday) and bi-annual NAA Meeting , and make strategic decisions that keeps our Alumni Association in the direction of the Easton Way. Please note: You must be an active member in order to nominate, vote, and/or sit on the board.
